    The victims of victims.

Last night our youth group gave a program (the usual "for the love of heaven and the after life, get saved!!", but still God can use anything and He does, and on second thought maybe the i'm being a bit critical of our program.)  at water street.  Anyway afterwards me and my friend were approached by an older man (i'm assuming he was probably homeless or lived in poverty), he asked for prayer and we prayed with him.  Through that he explained to us that he had fought in Vietnam,  then he went on to say how he suffered from horrible images, nightmares, and depression, from his time service.  He also said how he was a Christian and was searching for peace and tranquility.  I really wish i knew how to pray for those people.  I have no idea of the pain, guilt, and anger they must be experiencing within themselves, some are "strong" enough to hold it in and grow hardened to the memories but, some seemly the more "human" break down and are not able to live with themselves.
Note: Once these people are deemed mentally ill, that is when we are safe from their pain of their experiences.

This experience just reminded me of the hell war brings into real peoples lives.  Yes, we do need to support our troops......our Veterans....in fact we need to support troops and Veterans from all over the planet, from every county of the world, these people are all victims and have been deceived for the most part, you and i must remember that.  They are human (they are more than "war machines") and deserve the love Christ and love and prayers of us.

Lift these people in prayer, from the hate, deceit, and lies they are feed.  Also we must not forget those that are victimized by these "victims"; these are the widows, the widowers, the orphanages, the homeless, the starving, the injuried, ect...  Pray for these "victims", pray for peace.  Pray for Bill.
